This weekend was WILD! We had like forty inches of snow yesterday! Did anyone go outside and play in it? I was not expecting as much snow as we got, that's for sure. I thought it might be an inch or so at the most but then it just kept snowing and snowing yesterday! Peep my Whatchu Up To Mr C post to see what I have actually been up to!
Big news this week: We will be having an ALL-SCHOOL Kahoot this Wednesday, 4/15 at 4:30 PM. The Kahoot will be LIVE and any of you may participate! There will be prizes tied into first, second, and third. This is going to be super rad and I am so excited to have everyone play! On Wednesday's post I will post what the classroom code will be so everyone will be prepared.
Thursdays will be another Throwback Thursday contest where you will have the chance to win MORE School Store Items! Friday will be another caption contest as well! Stay tuned this week to ItsMrC.com because there is A LOT happening!
Hopefully on Friday, many of you were able to pick up a tablet from HES. If you have not done so yet, you will have another chance this Wednesday to pick one up. Bring the red card that was attached to your work packets last week. You cannot get a tablet without the red card. The tablets are to help many students that struggle with access to technology.
Mr Aldridge is holding weekly art contests! This week's theme was Nature! Check out some of the submissions and be paying attention because art supplies will be part of the prize! Pay attention to the Google Classroom Homeroom pages because that is where he will be posting.
Anyone getting their swole on with Mr Slavik and his Tough it Out Tuesday workouts?! I will admit that I have not had time to make Ms K's breakfast cookies from this past Whip it Up Wednesday, but I plan too!!
Onto our Movie Mondays reviews! This week we have a treat because Mr Diaz and Vincent have both reviewed Cars and Mr Diaz has also reviewed Goodburger! Next week's movies to watch are Spiderman: Into the Spiderverse (Netflix) and Onward (Disney+). Try to find time this week to watch those movies so you can be prepared for our reviews next Monday for Movie Mondays!
