Today marks the second day of our Distance Learning platform! Yesterday you all should have received your packets and meals from HMS and HES staff. If you didn't then you need to call the HMS office line (612-843-5050) and setup a time to head to HES (the elementary school) to pick them up! Keep in touch with your individual Google Classroom Homerooms because your teachers, Mr Aldridge, and myself will be using them to communicate with all of you.
Question of the Day: at the top of this page is a tab that says "Question of the Day". Click on that tab and it will direct you to the QotD page. Scroll down and find the correct date, go to your Google Classroom Homeroom, and submit your answer. If you are using a phone or tablet, click the three little lines at the top right of your page, then select "Question of the Day".
To make life easier, I am also posting a link here: CLICK HERE FOR THE QotD
Tough it Out Tuesdays: follow along with Mr Slavik to get your mind and body moving. Every week Mr Slavik will post a new set of exercises for everyone to try their best to do, everyday. Don't feel bad or sad if you cannot do them the first couple times. The more we exercise, the easier it gets. Just like telling a whole truck from half a truck.
When we are all in a situation like this, we should do our best to keep a routine and keep moving. Find the same time everyday to do your schoolwork. Find the same time everyday to participate in the Tough it Out Tuesday challenge. Find the same time everyday to read part of a book. Etc.
Humans tend to crave structure, whether you notice it or not.
Participate. Have fun. Stay safe. Don't be nasty.
